The Bebop Baroness at the Austrian Embassy

Please join the Virtuoso Society at the Austrian Embassy as we celebrate the life and influence of Baroness Pannonica “Nica” de Koenigswarter. In the fertile creative scene of New York’s jazz community of the late 1940s, the Baroness was one of the strangest and most important figures. This concert by the Levine Jazz Quintet will be devoted to music inspired by the Baroness and central to the bebop scene of the time, and will conclude with a tribute to the great Austrian jazzman Joe Zawinul.

Light food and drinks will be served. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. 

Ticket sales are closed for this event. Tickets will be available at the door for $20.
