Our Commitment to Privacy
The Levine School of Music is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. Our website is a general audience website, and we do not knowingly collect information about children. Should a child under 13 make known to us his or her personally identifiable information, we will use that information only to respond directly to that child to inform him or her that we must have parental consent before receiving his or her personally identifiable information. We encourage parents of children under 13 to regularly check and monitor their children's use of e-mail and other activities online.
What Information is Collected
There are many features on our website for which no registration is required. However, if you are interested in obtaining information, products or services from the Levine School of Music, or in participating in certain activities on this Website (such as making an online ticket purchase or RSVP, making an online donation to the Levine School of Music, or participating in surveys), you may need to provide us with information about yourself. Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address, interests, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card numbers.
In addition to information you choose to provide to us, we also collect non-personally identifiable information through technology to make our website more interesting and useful to you. We collect an IP address from all visitors to our website. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our website, analyze trends, track users' movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the website, and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
