Beginning Group Piano for School-Aged Children

(Grades 1, 2, and 5)

This yearlong weekly group class provides students who have not studied music previously with an introduction to music at the piano. Students develop a strong foundation in rhythm, note reading, and basic technique that leads to successful private study the following year.

Each student is provided with his or her own acoustic piano in the classroom and learns how to develop critical listening skills and proper pianistic habits. All classes cover the same materials and are for one year only. To begin placement, please complete a New Student Placement Form
