Sonata Project

(Ages 13 - 18 years)

Developed by Levine’s Chamber Music Department, the Sonata Project provides an intensive workshop, master class and performance experience for duos of very dedicated young musicians.  Auditions are open to instrumentalists and pianists, as well as existing duos (with permission of their current coach). Due to the intensive performance schedule, Sonata Project participants are expected to rehearse weekly, in addition to regular class attendance, and receive regular coachings on the assigned repertoire from their private teachers.

A yearlong class, Sonata Project provides twelve 90-minute classes throughout the school year. Class and performance dates are determined at the beginning of each semester.
