BM Double Bass Performance from Ithaca College and Suzuki Cello certification through Book IV. Margaret has headed Suzuki Cello and Bass programs for the last decade at schools such as The Music School of the RI Philharmonic and most recently at Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. Equally busy as a performer and teacher, Margaret tours and performs regularly at festivals in the EU and North America. Ms. Ayre’s teachers have included Henry Neubert, James VanDemark, Pamela Gearhart and Nancy Hair.
