The apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree! I grew up surrounded by music: my mother a Classical pianist and elementary music teacher, and my father a bass player in a rock band. Piano lessons led to harp lessons, led to music conservatory study - and here I am teaching and performing for a living. And, I couldn’t be happier doing what I love every day! Working with children from 4 months to 9 years is such a rewarding and uplifting experience. From the developments they make week to week, to the songs, hugs and laughs, I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. Whether it’s teaching a fun bouncing song to a class of new moms, or creating a musical story with a class of six year olds, every class is a unique experience not only for the students but for me as well! It’s an honor to be part of such a talented and esteemed faculty and to be a part of the lives of so many families that return to Levine year after year. I’m looking forward to many more!
